This Privacy Policy explains how USCare Quotes ("USCare Quotes," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by WestCrew Networks, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit uscarequotes.com (the "Site") or submit a form on the Site. USCare Quotes is a comparison and information service for final expense and life insurance. We are not an insurance company or an insurance agency.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, and some information collected automatically.
Information you provide
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, street address, city, state, and ZIP code.
- Insurance-related answers: age range, coverage amount you're interested in, gender, tobacco use, height and weight range, a general health rating (Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor), whether you currently have life insurance, your reason for seeking coverage, and when you want coverage to start.
- Any message you send us through the Contact page or a privacy request form.
General health information
Two of the questions on our form — your general health rating (Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor) and whether you use tobacco — are health-related information. Under the California CPRA and the privacy laws of Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut, this kind of information may be treated as sensitive personal information, which carries extra consent and use-limitation duties. We use this information for one purpose only: to understand the kind of coverage that might fit what you told us, so we can follow up about your options. We do not sell or use this information for any other purpose, including advertising unrelated to the coverage you requested. We do not ask for, and you should not submit, more detailed medical history (such as specific diagnoses or treatment history) through this form.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type (user agent), and referring page.
- Marketing attribution: UTM parameters and ad click identifiers (such as Google's gclid, Meta's fbclid, or Microsoft's msclkid) present in the URL when you arrive, so we can tell which ad or campaign led to your visit.
- The exact consent language you agreed to and the timestamp you agreed to it, kept as our record of your consent.
How we use your information
- To understand the kind of final expense or life insurance coverage that might fit what you told us.
- To follow up with you — by email, and by phone or text if you've given consent — about final expense and life insurance products.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including measuring which pages and ad campaigns are working.
- To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Use.
How we share your information
We do not currently sell or share your personal information with third-party marketing partners. If that ever changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and obtain your fresh consent before any such sharing begins. Today, we share information you submit only with:
- Service providers who host the Site, send email on our behalf, or process payments to us, under agreements limiting their use of your data to providing those services.
- Advertising and analytics providers (for example, ad platforms and web analytics tools) who help us measure and improve our marketing. Where these providers are configured on the Site, they are disclosed in the source code as clearly labeled, currently-inactive integration points.
- Legal and safety purposes — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of USCare Quotes, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your Social Security number, and we do not knowingly sell or share information belonging to a person under 18.
International data transfer
USCare Quotes is operated by WestCrew Networks, and the information you submit is processed outside the United States. By submitting the form on this Site, you consent to your information being transferred to, and processed in, a country other than the one in which you reside, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.
Data retention
We retain lead and form submission records for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, satisfy our legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — and no longer than that.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on where lead data is stored. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's data
The Site and our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not currently sell or share personal information with third parties for compensation, but you can still submit an opt-out request at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page — we'll honor it going forward, including if our practices change later.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah
If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah, you may have similar rights under your state's privacy law, including the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy of it, and opt out of its use for targeted advertising or "sales" as those states define the term.
